Illinois Veterans for Change supports Democratic Veteran candidates who value integrity, progress, and a commitment to advancing communities -- while also possessing the toughness necessary to govern. 

Who We Are

How We Support

We are a group of dedicated Democratic Veterans who see a need to increase Veteran elected officials on all levels of government.  Currently, Veteran elected officials are at an all-time low.  We are here to support you if you are a Democrat and a Veteran who proudly served our country and would like to run for office or support other Illinois Veteran candidates at the local or state level.

What We Do

Illinois Veterans for Change is a political action committee that supports our community members through:

• Community building: We host network-building events to expand our community of Veteran public servants.​
• Capacity building: We raise money and disperse support to Veteran candidates who embody our values and defend our democracy.
• Outreach: If you are one of us, we will make sure state and local lawmakers know about you. We are here to provide a voice for Veterans in the Democratic Party in the State of Illinois.

In addition to providing funding to qualified, selected Democrat Veterans who desire to continue public service as an elected official, we also schedule trainings and seminars on how to run a successful campaign along with providing volunteers if needed.

Paid for by Illinois Veterans for Change.  A copy of our report filed with the State Board of Elections are (or will be) available on the Board's official website (www.elections.il.gov) or for purchase from the State Board of Elections, Springfield, IL  State law requires political committees to use their best efforts to report the occupation and name of employer for each individual whos contributions aggregate in excess of $500. Contributions to Illinois Veterans for Change are not tax deductible.
